Winter - just barely

This year the weather has been very bi-polar here in NC.  We would get some really cold days and as soon as rain clouds moved in it would warm up too much for snow.  But we finally did get a little taste of that white that we love so much.  While a little disappointing, the dusting we got was still pretty.

I played outside with the dogs, the only other ones in our house who appreciated the cold and snow more than I did!

Even if the snow was minimal, one thing different this year is that it has stayed cold and lots of it is still covering the ground days later.  Last year it snowed a lot more, but it was all melted and gone the very next day.  So yay! Winter will stick around for us a little bit longer...
